Rene is a Proven Real Estate Construction & Development professional with over 10+ years of Executive experience constructing and developing over$1 Billion in world-class ground-up real estate projects across South Florida and the Caribbean. Senior Executive responsible for executing and managing the successful construction and development of complex, built masterplan developments such as PariPARAMOUNT Miami Worldcenter, Legacy Miami Worldcenter,Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve,Puerto Rico.   • Worked directly with the CEO and Executive team on all new developments, from acquisition, due diligence,underwriting, budgeting, auditing, structuring, development to turn-key delivery and disposition of assets. Additional involvement include but not limited to; drive feasibility, capital raise, project management, entitlements, and legal structuring, acquisitions, contracts and pre-construction, and sales and marketing.
  • Executed over $150M in Financing with private equity firms Monarch Alternative Capital, Sculptor (fka: Och Ziff) based in New York, on a reposition of an asset which included a $30M renovation budget, working capital and reserves. The Joint-Venture acquisition of the asset and repositioning thereafter, into Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve, Puerto Rico, a 4-star Hotel and Branded Residences, as part of a Masterplan development, managed by Hotel Operator Aimbridge.
  • Led weekly meetings with Executive team to analyze project finance, development timelines and schedules,legal framework, and quarterly reporting for Company Fund administration. Such Project included PARAMOUNT MWC, Legacy MWC, Hyatt Regency PR, St. Pete assemblage, and more.
  • Managed a team of five (5) to drive project development from concept to turn-key delivery and managing consultants overseeing budgets, schedules, deliverables, contracts, and agreements.
  • Responsible for budgeting, purchase orders, vendor negotiations, client purchasing agreements and coordination of Design, Development, Interiors, and Pre-Development.
