David’s role is to prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned projects. In coordination with Martin Hogan (Vice President & Director of Preconstruction) and Jorge Tapia (Vice President & Director of Construction) David is involved throughout the entire project duration from document review, value engineering, estimate’s, logistic planning and staging, subcontractor bid invitations/evaluations/negotiations/awards and the daily construction of the project. His responsibilities commence upon executed contract to assist with the preconstruction phase of the project thru project turnover. His overall responsibilities involve monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. David daily role involves effective cooperation and communication with project managers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support, maintain project database by entering and backing up daily project data, manages and coordinates logistics for construction supplies and activities, maintains and distributes daily job site reports, maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations, assists in overall quality control of work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and distributes shop drawings, submittals RFI’s and drawings.
Background and Relevant Experience
David graduated from Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) Caracas, Venezuela with B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. David also received his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida International University (FIU) Miami. David is a highly talented professional with powerful analytical skills acquired from industry experience combined with his graduate level educational background. In a multicultural city such as Miami he brings excellent verbal and written commination’s skills, able to communicate in English and Spanish, with international experience and proven success in operations and project management, support areas and personal training. David has become a very influential leader within Hogan Brothers with a strong sense of ethics, commitment to deliver superior results with problem-solving, analytical, teamwork, initiative and presentation skills.
