Background and Relevant Experience
Martin graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 1994 with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering. The Georgia Institute of Technology is recognized as one of the top engineering and research universities in the world. Upon graduating, Martin went to work for R.J. Griffin and Company (Now JE Dunn Construction) at the time top tier GC firm based out of Atlanta, Georgia. During his tenure with R.J. Griffin and Company, Martin was responsible for the construction superintendence of the Castle Hotel Autograph Collection located on I-Drive in Orlando, Florida and estimated numerous projects under the leadership of the R.J Griffin’s head estimator.
Due to Martin’s working relationship with the developer while building the Castle Hotel, the nationally renowned developer Richard Kessler (Co-Founder and CEO of Days Inn of America) hired Martin shortly after the completion of the project to manage all new development & construction for Kessler’s new company The Kessler Collection. During Martin’s tenure with The Kessler Collection from 1995 to 2005 as the Director of Development & Construction, Martin was responsible for the Project Management of hotel, residential, multifamily, and commercial projects to include developing and managing the project budget and schedule, hiring, and managing the General Contractor, Architect, Engineers, Design Consultants, and working with local City, Building, and Zoning officials to acquire development and building approvals.
Martin took on an additional role as Corporate Director of Engineering for The Kessler Collection from 2000 to 2005. As Corporate Director of Engineering, Martin was responsible for overseeing all nine-(9) of the Kessler Collection hotels (1,400 Rooms) engineering departments and capital improvements.
In 2005, Martin along with his brother Matthew Hogan established Hogan Brothers based in Miami, Florida.

Martin along with his brother Matthew co-founded Hogan Brothers in 2005 and has been successfully leading the company as Vice President & Director of Pre-Construction. Martin is responsible for managing the pre-construction phases for the company to include estimating, bidding, document review & analysis, subcontract negotiations & buyout, project schedules, value engineering, prime contracts, and subcontract agreements. Martin has been involved in the Construction & Development industry for 27 years and has delivered complex, unique, and historic projects as a General Contractor and as a Director of Development & Construction for prominent Orlando based boutique hotel developer Richard Kessler (The Kessler Collection). Martin’s knowledge, experience, and understanding of the construction industry provides our clients with the confidence and assurance required to deliver complex and successful projects.
